Between July 4–6, 2025, Central Texas experienced a catastrophic flash flood after intense storms dumped 5–11 inches of rain in just a few hours, causing the Guadalupe River to surge 20–26 feet—its second-highest recorded rise—within under an hour.
The consequences were tragic: As of Monday, July 7th, there are over 80 confirmed deaths (including nearly 30 children), with more than 40 people still missing, and hundreds rescued from fast-moving waters. These storm systems turned beloved towns and summer camps into emergency zones almost overnight.
With imidia's headquarters residing in Texas, our team has been deeply moved by the tragedy our neighbors have experienced. That's why we've compiled a collection of trusted organizations providing emergency aid, food, shelter, rescue services, and long-term relief for those in need.
